Mrs. Wilson, a sixth grade math teacher, is grading papers. When she gets to the question about how 4 brothers can equally split a pizza if the pizza has 16 slices, she notices two students worked the problem different from her answer key.

Student 1 computed the number of slices each brother could have by dividing 16 by 4 like this:

Student 1 Is correct because if you divide 16 by 4 all of the brothers will get a even amount of pizzas.

The first he first student is right because when you divide 16 by 4, all the brothers get the same and equal amount
