Staphylococcus aureus is a round-shaped bacterium, and it can grow without oxygen. It's not always considered a pathogen, but it is known to cause infections and food poisoning (and other respiratory infections).

It is usually found in these parts of a body: your nose, respiratory tract, and on the skin. This bacterium can cause skin and soft-tissue infections.

HOW CAN IT SPREAD?
Infection causes by Staphylococcus Aureus can spread to others through direct contact (ex: shaking hands) and indirect contact (ex: using items than an infected person previously used)
