Karen knows that trees use energy from the Sun to make food. She wants to plant several trees in her backyard, but she is worried that she will use up the Sun's energy. Is Karen correct?

Technically, she is! However the sun has so much energy that Karen won’t have to worry about using up ALL of the energy because the sun has so much to last for millions of years. She will be perfectly fine. :)
