Another big pollutant of Lake Tai is the organic pollution, otherwise known as eutrophication. It is not one part of the lake that is affected by this type of pollution, but it's all of it. This pollution is caused by big amounts of nitrates and phosphates in the water, they cause algal bloom which decreases the oxygen level in the lake and most of the living organisms die off, the water is also in no way for drinking.
