Answer: the Battle of Yorktown ended the Revolutionary War.

Step-by-step explanation:

After losing their first battles in Bunker Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Harlem Heights, and the Deep South, they had their self-esteem boosted through the victories at Trenton, Princeton and a big confrontation at Saratoga, New York, in 1777. Only after an agreement with the French monarchy, and the addition of a large French army, the Americans had the turning point in the war. The French navy obstructed the British to access their supplies and reinforcements, and the Americans finally won the last battle of the Revolutionary War at Yorktown Virginia, in 1781.
