Vitamin B12 is important for the body to function. It helps keep nerve cells healthy, and it helps with the formation of red blood cells. When someone is vitamin B12 deficient, one of the reasons could be that the person’s is not the vitamin efficiently.

a reason could be the bodies ability to process the water based vitamin as well as the person's diet. many things have b12 in it but choosing to cut something out, like meat, could cause a deficiency

the answer is that there small instestine is not absorbing the b12
