When f(x)=g(x), that means that the value of f(x) must equal the value of g(x) for whatever x value is plugged in.

We can see the values of f(x) and g(x) in the second and third columns. The first column tells you what x values are being plugged into each function to get the f(x) and g(x) values. That means you would read the chart row by row and find the x values where both the f(x) and g(x) values are the same.

If you look at your chart, you can see that f(x) and g(x) are the same in the rows where x=-2 and x=-1.

The two answers you would check are x=−2 and x=−1.
