the sum of the angles is 180 degrees

so x is :

180 - (50 + 70) = 180 - 120 \\ = 60
and the sum of an interior angle an the corresponding exterior angle is 180

so y is:

180 - 60-70 = 50

good luck

Hello!

All the angles inside a triangle is equal to 180

To find x you can do

180 - 50 - 70 = 60

x = 60

To find y you have to find the other missing angle in the other triangle

180 - 50 - 60 = 70

A line is equal to 180°

To find y you do

180 - 60 - 70 = 50

x = 60 and y = 50

Hope this helps!
