When r=14, [14-4]>8, which is true because 10 is greater than 8.

A) 8 =8 so it isn't greater than 8 so this is false
b) -12 is not greater than 8 so this is false
c) 10 is greater than 8 so this is true
d) 4 is not greater than 8 so this is false
c would be the correct answer
