Describe the speaker from the poem, “The Lamb”. The speaker is the voice or “persona” of a poem.

The speaker of this poem is a child.

The child is curious and wants to know who made the lamb. The child is also a bit naive, like most children are, because he or she is directly speaking to a lamb and expecting a reply. The child is also religious; at the end of the poem, he/she blesses the lamb.
