Obsessive compulsive and related disorders are a group of overlapping disorders that generally involve intrusive, unpleasant thoughts and repetitive behaviors. An individual experiences thoughts and urgents that are intrusive and unwanted and/or the need to engage in repetitive behaviors or mental acts.
