The new temperature at 12.2 atm of the sample is calculated using the following formula
P1/T1 = P2/T2
P1 = 3.9 atm
T1= 945k
P2= 12.2 atm
T2=?
from the formula obove T2 = P2 x T1/ P1
= 12.2 x945/3.9 =
2956.15 K
