The answer should be C. During world war I, most young men were drafted to fight in the war. This included the blacks (even though at that time people were still racist). Women worked in many factories and participated in war production(that people never thought women could have done). This also resulted the signing if 18th amendment in 1919 by presideny Wilson since he was convinced of the hard work women put in to help the war.
