Zulu War is the correct answer.

The Zulu nation was the biggest ethnic group in South Africa that was very well-known by their warrior past. In the 19th century, the British Empire was interested in conquering the Zululand for many reasons, such as their territory, population (that could be used as labour) and the British desire to create a South Africa federation. Even though the Zulu nation fought a good war, on July 4th 1879, the British inflicted a final attack on Zulu's surviving soldiers that ended the independence of the Zulu nation.
