B Nobles granted the use of farmlands to the vassals.

Feudalism was the imperative social arrangement in medieval Europe, in which the nobility embraced lands from the Crown in replacement for army service, and serfs were in turn inhabitants of the nobles, while the workers or serfs were enforced to persist on their Lord's kingdom and give him loyalty, business, and a destiny of the produce, notionally in replacement for martial insurance.
