A home improvement store advertises 60 square feet of flooring for 287.00 including an 80.00 installation fee write an equation to represent the cost of one square foot of flooring

60 square feet for 287 = 287/60 = 4.78 per square foot

so ur equation would be : y = 4.78x + 80....where x is the number of square feet and y is the total cost
