We have the following:
AC=root(a^2 + b^2)
Then,
BD=root((a-0)^2 + (0-b)^2)
BD=root((a)^2 + (-b)^2)
BD=root((a)^2 + (b)^2)
therefore,
AC=AB
Answer:
AC=AB
