Answer:

You can easily round any number to any place using a simple rule. Look to the digit to the right of the digit you want to round to. If that digit is 5 or greater than 5, you round UP to the next higher digit. If the digit to the right of the digit you’re trying to round to is 4 or less, you leave the digit alone.

1. 1.528 = 1.5

2. 76.2714 = 76.27

3. 23.49382 = 23.494

4. 8.39261 = 8.926

5. 342.62984 = 342.6

Answer:

it states to round to the tenths place for 1 which would be 1.5 because the 2 after is not 5 or above so it stays the same

it also goes for the rest that are stated in the problem
