Silver Chromate (Ag₂CrO₄) is sparingly soluble in water. It has a solubility product of Ksp = 1.2 × 10⁻¹². When added to water Silver Chromate produces Silver and chromate ions as shown below,

Ag₂CrO₄ ₍s₎ ⇄ 2 Ag⁺ ₍aq₎ + CrO₄²⁻ ₍aq₎
