Adoptive parents should be responsible to tell the adopted children about their familial status. One can introduce the word adoption for a child to be comfortable between 2 and 4 years old however those who were adopted before 2 could be informed by around 4 or 5 years old yet the best time to inform the children is around 6 years old during the preschool and school age as for the children to accept the fact and not to wait until adolescence stage.
