x-intercept can be found when y=0
y-intercept can be found when x=0

Plug in x=0 to find the y-intercept
-3(0) + 4y = -12
4y = -12
y = -3

Plug in y=0 to find the x-intercept

-3x + 4(0) = -12
-3x = -12
x = 4

The x-intercept is (4,0)
The y-intercept is (0, -3)

y=mx + b
3x-4y=12
4y=3x-12
y=3/4x-3

when x = 0, y = -3
when y = 0, x = 4

Hope this helps.
