Change the equation to slope intercept form: y= mx + b. m is slope and b is the y-intercept.

7x+4y=10
subtract 7x
4y=10-7x
divide by 4
y=(10-7x)/4
y=10/4-7x/4
simplify
y=5/2-7x/4
swap positions for correct form
y= -7/4x + 5/2

slope= -7/4
