That's an awkward way to put it. What this is really asking is:

Which transformation is a symmetry?

where by symmetry we mean an operation which maps the parallelogram to itself.

For the parallelogram shown the reflections aren't symmetries because the vertices don't map to each other. Neither is the 90 degree rotation.

But the 180 degree rotation accurately captures the symmetry of the parallelogram. Of course for 180 degrees it doesn't matter it it's clockwise or counterclockwise.

Answer: Choice D

I believe it would be C, because it's not D, 180 because 180 would be a reflection and B makes no scense it wouldn't be A, because it's not a 180 degree turn.
