1) The 13th amendment outlaws slavery or forced labor in the US. The only exception is when it is used as a means of punishment for a crime.

2) The 14th amendment states that if you are born in the United States then you are a citizen and are guaranteed all the protections/rights of other US citizens.

3) The 15th amendment states that an individual can not be stopped from voting based on race, color, or the fact that they used to be a slave.

4) The 17th amendment states that citizens will not vote for US Senators, who will serve 6 year terms.

5) The 19th amendment gives women the right to vote.

6) The 24th amendment reinforces the idea that all citizens have the right to vote for President/Vice-President without having to pay a tax or take a test.

7)The 26th amendment gives 18 year old citizens the right to vote.
