September 11th is one of the pivotal moments of the Twenty First century and still has an impact on the United States today. Your assignment is to ask someone, a family member or friend, who remembers the events of September 11th 2001. Ask them where they were when they learned what happened, how they felt and what they remember.

Here are a couple things you could ask:
How did you start your day on September 11th 2001? Was there something to look forward to that day? Something special? Around what time did you hear about the tragedy? What was your initial reaction? What did you do after? Did you call any friends and/or family in any of the attacked locations? Were you directly affected? Were any of your family or friends affected?
