Hello.
So to solve this we'll need a bit of alg., involved.
X = 8
Y =- 3
Here's why.
Since
x - y = 11,
x = 11 + y.
3(11+y) + 10y= -6
33 +13y= -6
33 +6 =-13y
39/-3 = y
y=-3
x=11+3=8
