We have to use the segment formula which is

( (mx_(2) + n x_(1) )/(m+n), (my_(2) + n y_(1) )/(m+n))

Where m :n is the ratio.

Using this formula, we will get

( (1*4 +2(-5))/(1+2) , (1(-10)+2*2)/(1+2))

And on simplifying , we will get

( (4-10)/(3) , (-10+4)/(3)) = (-2,-2)

Therefore the correct option is 1 .
