So the formula to find the area of a circle is A=
\pi
r^(2). The r stands for radius, so just a little simple math should give us your answer.

Following the rules of PEMDAS, you need to deal with exponents first. So
13^(2)=169. Then multiply
\pi by 169 and we should have our answer.

3.14*169=530.66

So your answer should be approximately 530.

The area of a circle is A=pi(r)^2. Since the diameter is 13, the radius would be 6.5. Doing the formula (3.14)(6.5)^2, the answer would be 132.665.
