Hi sorry but I think I'm overthinking this problem. I'm doing Trigonometry and it says round all final answers to 2 decimals places. I got 36.86989765 and I rounded it 36.87. I don't know if I'm doing this right

Yes, you’re correct. For me, when it says round up to a certain number of decimal places, I block out all the other decimal places except for the next one. For this, I would block out all the decimal places except for the first three. The third one will tell you whether to round up or down. So let’s test it.
36.869
9 is more than 5, so it will round up.
36.87

If 36.86989765 is indeed the correct result, then 36.87 is the correct rounding to two decimal places. So you're all good.
