How might the death of all the producers in a community affect the carbon and oxygen cycle?

A. Both cycles would halt b/c no oxygen or carbon would be made available to consumers?

I think that is right but I need to make sure? Help anyone?

The death of all the producers in a community would affect the carbon and oxygen cycle. There would be no photosynthesis, so there would be an excess of carbon dioxide and not enough oxygen.
