What did the first continental Congress do? How is the significance of the causing the American revolution?

Answer: The first continental congress was a pact among the colonies to boycott british goods unless the British parliament rescinds (Gets rid of) the Intolerable acts. The parliament did not rescind the acts which fueled the American revolution.
