Volume = l*w*h
Box A:
6*3*2=36 inches cubed
Box B :
36=l*4*3
36=12l
L= 36/12=3
Length of box B = 3 inches (B)

Since volume is L*W*H and both are equal then you can have
2*3*6=3*4*x
You can reduce it down to
36=12x
Divide each side by 12 and you have
x=3
The length is 3 in
