Artistic and literary styles existed three decades before the 1914 rebellion against academics and historic traditions that could not portray the reality as accurately as possible. They radicalized through radical movements in architecture, art, literature, art, music, photography and applied arts.
The literally and artistic products were reflected through cubism in the arts, symbolism in poetry, atonality in music thus explored the economic, social and political dimensions of the emerging industrial world.
