Lets get started :)
Caroline : Sarah
4 : 1 4r + 1r = ?
48 : x
4r = 48 ( Caroline's ratio )
Because she got £48 after the ratio division between the two
r = 12
= 4r + 1r
= 4 ( 12 ) + 1 ( 12 )
= 48 + 12
= 60
They won £60 in total
