Am certain that the activities of the digestive system generally increase when it is stimulated by parasympathetic impulses.
The parasympathetic nervous system i one of the three division of the ANS which is sometimes referred as the rest and digest system, the parasympathetic system conserves energy as it slows the heart rate, increases intestinal and gland activity, and relaxes sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract.
