(2x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x² + 5x + 7) - (-4x⁵- x⁴ - 3x² - 5x + 2)

= 2x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x² + 5x + 7 + 4x⁵ + x⁴ + 3x² + 5x - 2

= 6x⁵ - 2x⁴ + 4x² + 10x + 5 (Answer A)

Hey there :)

( 2x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x² + 5x + 7 ) - ( - 4x⁵ - x⁴ - 3x² - 5x + 2 )

Let us combine like-terms
2x⁵ - ( - 4x⁵ ) - 3x⁴ - ( - x⁴ ) + x² - ( - 3x² ) + 5x - ( - 5x ) + 7 - 2

Minus and minus becomes plus
2x⁵ + 4x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x⁴ + x² + 3x² + 5x + 5x + 7 -2

6x⁵ - 2x⁴ + 4x² + 10x + 5

Your answer will be option A) 6x⁵ - 2x⁴ + 4x² + 10x + 5
