The correct answer is internal causes.
If you believe that some internal causes have made you perform a particular action, chances are you will either feel pride or shame for what you did. Internal causes refer to your own thoughts, opinions, or feelings that made you do something, as opposed to somebody else's. You won't feel as proud or ashamed if somebody else, rather than yourself, made you do something.
