The correct answer is Hrotsvitha of Gandersheim

She was a German Secular Canoness and is considered by many literary critics to be among the first people since the antiquity period to write dramas. There are no precise dates of when and where she was born, or why she joined the nunnery, nor when she died and why, but she was still one of the most remarkable women of her age.
