What is the solution set for -4x = y + 3 and y = -4x -3

They are both the same equation, therefore the solution set has an infinite number of solutions. All ordered pairs on the line y = -4x - 3 are solutions.

You know they are the same equation because if you subtract 3 from both sides of the equation -4x = y + 3, you get y = -4x - 3.
