Can someone help me? I'm a bit confused... I mean- can't you use the Pythagorean theorem to figure this out?

C^2 (hypotenuse) = a^2 + b^2
Rearrange A^2 = c^2 - b^2
A^2 = 17^2 - 15^2
A^2 = 64
Square root of 64 = A = 8

SOHCAHTOA or trigonometry is for angles
