we know that
John ran a mile in 6 minutes 15 seconds
6 minutes 15 seconds--------> 6.25min
1 mile---------------> 63360 in
63360 /(6.25*60)--------> 168.96 in/sec
Joe ran at an average speed of -----------------> 168 in/sec
Jim ran at an average speed of ----------------> 875 ft/min
1 ft---------> 12 in
875 ft-------> X
X---------> 10500 in
875 ft/min--------> 10500 in/min--------> 10500/60-------> 175 in/sec
Jeremy ran at an average speed of ---------------> 10 miles per hour
if 10 miles-------------> 1 hour
1 mile---------------> X
X=1/10------> x=0.1 hour--------> 0.1*60------> 6 minutes
10 miles/hour
1 mile---------------> 63360 in
10 mile-----------> X
X=63360*10--------> X=633600 in/hour-----> 633600/3600-----> 176 in/sec
therefore
John------> 168.96 in/sec
Joe----------> 168 in/sec
Jim----------> 175 in/sec
Jeremy-----> 176 in/sec
Jim 175 in/sec > John 168.96 in/sec
Jeremy 176 in/sec > John 168.96 in/sec
the answer is
Jim and Jeremy
