Is -1/7 greater than -1/3, -1, -2, or -0.1

-1/7 is greater than -1, -2, and -1/3. However, it is smaller than -0.1 = -1/10.

Everything is "backwards" when you're dealing with negatives. The larger the number after the negative sign, the smaller the number actually is. Imagining a number line may help, with numbers closer to the left as smaller.
