The area of BOTH the triangles are (2)(1/2)(3)(4), which is 12.
The area of the base is (3)(5.5), 16.5.
The area of the slanted rectangle is (5.5)(5), which is 27.5.
The area of the vertical rectangle is (4)(5.5), which is 22.
Adding these, we get 78.

Hope this helps!
