What is the equation in point slope form of the line that has a slope of 6 and passes through the point (-1, -8)?

Y= 6x-2 is the equation of the line

Point slope form is y - y1 = m(x - x1), where (x1, y1) is a point on the line and m is the slope of the line. We plug in 6 for m, -1 for x1 and -8 for y1 to get y + 8 = 6(x + 1)
