Once FDR gets elected in 1932, the members of the Bonus March reorganize to March on Washington in order to receive their bonuses for serving in World War I. These individuals were treated extremely well and had the chance to mingle/work with FDR's wife, Eleanor Roosevelt. She listened to their concerns and fit in well with these veterans. Eventually, these men will get their bonuses thanks to FDR's New Deal policies.
