the inverse of f(x)=x + 5/3
y=x-5/3 so you switch x and y to find the inverse
x=y-5/3 add 5/3 to both sides and get y=x + 5/3 as your inverse
to find f(3) you plug 3 in for x
f(3)= (3) +5/3 = 14/3 = 4 and 2/3
