Question 1: African American soldiers were payed 10$ with the deduction of 3$ for clothing therefore, it's definitely not A or D and they were African American so, they weren't treated fair so it's not B and since we know Blacks and Whites were not equal we can infer that they most likely got half of what the whites earned 'aka' C.
Question 2: The 54th Volunteer Infantry was the first all- African American regiment and was led by Robert Gould Shaw.
"Massachusetts Governor John A. Andrew, a strong abolitionist, recruited Shaw in March of 1863 to raise and command one of the first regiments of African American troops in the Union army, the 54th Massachusetts Infantry."
