Basically the realists has more to do with realistic subject matter and has less to do with the photorealistic painting images because photorealism does play a part but not always present in the paintings of realism art. However, the English landscape painters made depiction or portray in art of landscapes that includes natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers and forest especially where the main subject is a wide view. In addition, landscapes views in art may be entirely imaginary or copied from reality with varying degrees of accuracy and it is called topographical view.
