Kaposi sarcoma
Kaposi sarcoma is a cancer that arises from the cells that line the blood vessels or lymph. Kaposi sarcoma cause patches of abnormal tissues to grow under the skin, nose, lymph nodes, throat, nose and in other organs. Thus, these patches are usually purple or red and this cancer is normally caused by infection with human herpesvirus-8.
