Q 2 why are lipoproteins needed to transport lipids in the blood stream?

lipids are non polar and thus not soluble in water, lipoproteins are particles comprised of many molecules, one end is polar and the other is non polar.

They are transported through the bloodstream to tissues where they are stored, used for energy, or to make hormones.
